Each member of our crew brings experience, care, and energy to every walk, hike, and home visit. We treat your dogs like family because they are. You can count on us to show up, tune in to each dog’s needs, and go the extra mile—literally.

Dean

Hi, my name is Dean and I've been a Pack Leader with K9 Tails On Trails for almost 4 years. I was drawn to this work because I've always liked dogs. I quickly came to realize that providing an environment for dogs to socialize and exercise. I moved to Juneau from Southern California in the later part of 2018 to attend UAS. Sometimes I like to share fun facts about the environment with my fellow pack leaders, whether they want to hear it or not! My favorite dog breed is any type of doodle mix. No shedding! My favorite activity with the dogs is running and jumping, or on the right summer day, swimming! On my off time I enjoy cooking, playing video games, playing my electric Bass, and riding my OneWheel or Snowboard!

Jon

Hi, my name is Jon! I’m originally from New Orleans and I ended up here in Juneau because of my father moving our family up to be the lead aircraft mechanic for Alaska Seaplanes and I’ve found my calling with dogs. All you have to do is give them love, respect, and cuddles and they are happy to give them back! My favorite thing about hanging out with dogs is the surprise cuddles and fun adventures. My favorite thing to do with the dogs is have them chase me while I run away with a stick. My favorite breed is Golden Retriever because they are sweet and loyal, even if they're a little hard headed from time to time.

Raven

I'm Raven, and I am the newest Pack Leader (for now) having started in February 2025. I have been in Juneau for about a year, and I feel very connected to the Pacific Northwest after living in Oregon. I can't stand to sit still or be inside all day- so you could say K9 Tails on Trails was the perfect place for me!

My rescue dog, Fenrir, has given me a passion for the 'underdogs' that may not have had a great start to life, but just need some extra love and patience to be a great pack member. I enjoy working with dogs that are shy, nervous, or scared- but have a lot of love to give. Dogs respond to kindness, a calm demeanor, and trust- and I can't wait to work with your four-legged friend!

When not hitting the trail, you can find me out and about in Juneau enjoying the rare sunshine, playing video games, listening to music, or trying something new!

Tasha

Hi! I'm Tasha, a 17-year-old part-time student and proud member of the K9 Tails On Trails team. As a junior dog walker, I get to combine my love for animals with hands-on experience in the field I'm passionate about. Being part of this incredible team gives me the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while building confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills.

Whether it's a playful pup or a senior stroll, I love creating calm, positive walking experiences that help every dog feel safe and happy. I'm especially excited to grow in my role, and I'm always ready for the next adventure on the trail!
