Meet Our Team.
At K9 Tails On Trails, we're more than just dog walkers—we're passionate dog people dedicated to keeping your best friend happy, healthy, and thriving. Our team brings a unique combination of experience, reliability, compassion, and a genuine love for dogs to every walk, adventure, Mobile Dog Gym session, and pet visit.
We know that every dog has their own personality, quirks, and needs, so we take the time to build trust and create a positive experience tailored to each pup. Whether your dog loves hitting the trails, enjoys a leisurely stroll, needs to burn off extra energy, or simply wants a little extra attention while you're away, we're here to help.
To us, your dog isn't just another client—they become part of the K9 Tails On Trails family. You can count on our team to show up with a smile, plenty of treats (if approved!), endless belly rubs, and a commitment to providing safe, dependable, and loving care every step of the way. We don't just walk dogs—we build relationships, create adventures, and make tails wag.

Tasha
Hi! I'm Tasha. I started as a 17-year-old and part-time student; now I'm a full-time and proud member of the K9 Tails On Trails team. As a junior dog walker, I get to combine my love for animals with hands-on experience in the field I'm passionate about. Being part of this incredible team allows me to learn from experienced professionals while building confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills.
Whether it's a playful pup or a senior stroll, I love creating calm, positive walking experiences that help every dog feel safe and happy. I'm especially excited to grow in my role, and I'm always ready for the next adventure on the trail!

Raven
I'm Raven, and I am a Pack Leader, having started in February 2025. I have been in Juneau for about a year, and I feel very connected to the Pacific Northwest after living in Oregon. I can't stand sitting still or being inside all day, so you could say K9 Tails on Trails was the perfect place for me!
My rescue dog, Fenrir, has given me a passion for the 'underdogs' who may not have had a great start in life but need extra love and patience to become great pack members. I enjoy working with dogs that are shy, nervous, or scared-but have a lot of love to give. Dogs respond to kindness, a calm demeanor, and trust-and I can't wait to work with your four-legged friend!
When not hitting the trail, you can find me out and about in Juneau, enjoying the rare sunshine, playing video games, listening to music, or trying something new!

Rachel
Hello! I'm Rachel, a Pacific Northwest native with a love for Alaska and a connection to Juneau, where I lived from 2014 to 2020. After returning home during COVID-a time that allowed me to reconnect with family and reset-I've found my way back to Juneau Alaska.
I first met Landon with K9 Tails on Trails in 2017 when I used his services for my dog. Over the years, he has encouraged me to join the team, and now life has given me the opportunity to do just that.
I bring 13 years of experience in Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Emergency and Critical Care, along with 2 years of Wildlife Rehabilitation. This background allows me to approach every hike, walk and adventure with a strong focus on safety, awareness, and a deep understanding of animal behavior and overall well-being.
Joining the K9TOT team allows me to combine my lifelong passion for animals with my love for the outdoors. I'm committed to providing dependable, attentive, and compassionate care-whether on the trail, around town, or supporting pets with unique or special needs.
Joining me back in Juneau are my dog, Luna, and my cat Lucifer-an inseparable pair who keep life entertaining and full of love.

Landon
Hey! I'm Landon, the owner of K9 Tails On Trails.
I grew up in Burleson, Texas, and after serving eight years in the United States Coast Guard, I made my home in beautiful Juneau, Alaska, where I met my incredible Alaskan Native wife, Shelby. Together we're raising our five amazing kids, and our life is full of adventure, laughter, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I honestly can't imagine a life without them. Over the years I've learned that every dog has its own personality—some are athletes, some are comedians, some think they're lap dogs no matter their size, and a few are convinced squirrels are public enemy number one. Learning what makes each dog tick is one of my favorite parts of the job.
I've spent my life around dogs, and that experience has taught me how to read their body language, understand their behavior, build trust, and tailor every walk or workout to their individual needs. Every dog deserves patience, kindness, and someone who truly enjoys spending time with them—and that's exactly what I strive to provide.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a nervous dog become confident, an overweight dog become healthier, or an energetic pup come home happily worn out after a great adventure. There isn't much better than being greeted by a wagging tail and a dog that's more excited to see me than most people are!
When I'm not hanging out with my four-legged clients, you'll usually find me fishing, camping, spending time at the lake, riding the jet ski, hiking Alaska's mountains, or enjoying the outdoors with my family. If it involves fresh air and a little adventure, I'm probably there. Flying, though? Let's just say I'd rather drive, boat, hike, or swim before boarding a plane.
At K9 Tails On Trails, your dog isn't just another appointment on the schedule—they become part of our pack. My mission is simple: provide exceptional care, create fun adventures, build lasting relationships with families, and make sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and love they deserve. If your dog comes home happy, tired, and dreaming about their next adventure with us, then I've done my job.
